水文学博士,现中国科学院西北生态环境资源研究院副研究员,中国科学院率先行动“百人计划”(2020-2022)。2017年毕业于美国宾夕法尼亚州立大学(Pennsylvania State University)土木工程系水资源工程专业,副修学位计算科学(Computational Science),2017-2020加州大学戴维斯分校(Department of Land, Air and Water Resources, UC Davis)博士后研究员。分别于兰州大学和中科院寒旱所获得学士和硕士学位。开发了SHUD(Simulator for Hydrologic Unstructured Domains)数值方法水文模型(https://www.shud.xyz)。专注于数值方法的分布式水文模型、“大气-陆面-水文”模型耦合、气候/人类活动对水循环的影响和集成模型耦合研究。

Professor of Hydrology in Department of Civil Engineering, Pennsylvania State University.

Dr. Duffy is the lead of the PIHM group and advisor of PIHM/SHUD development. His primary research interests are stochastic and numerical modeling of groundwater flow and solute transport and modeling large-scale hydrologic systems.
